Editorial and verification policy

New leads remain in a private review queue. A public business must be active or seasonal, have no unresolved status conflict, show a sufficient current activity signal and have at least one direct source. An expired review date removes the listing from the next export automatically.

We prioritize official business sites, municipalities, public bodies, associations and direct provider pages. Search engines, directories and social media can help discover a lead, but they do not replace a publishable source. Comparisons are organized by resident need and facts to confirm; they do not claim to measure quality without testing or evidence.

Automated tools may help discover leads, structure records, detect missing fields, prepare a translation or organize a draft. They are never treated as a source. The publication workflow still requires sources, mandatory fields and consistency checks. No visit, order, interview or hands-on test is represented as completed without recorded evidence.

A basic listing may be free. An enhanced profile, sponsorship or affiliate link must be labelled on the relevant page. A commercial relationship cannot buy a higher organic position and does not change the verification standard. Medical content, alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, weapons and gambling are excluded from this project’s ad placements.

An owner or reader may report an error, request removal of a detail or claim a listing. Include the business name, the field to change and a direct source. Critical changes are checked before publication; old values remain in the internal history so a resolved error is not imported again.
